Audrey Perry joined the Nursery team in the summer of 2009. Audrey has a BA in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Lyndon State College. Prior to returning to school to finish her degree she worked as an infant/toddler teacher for three years in a local early childhood program. |

Karla Ilsley first joined the staff at the Child Care Center in 1988. She has a BA in Elementary Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from Castleton State College. She has worked with all age groups in Center over the years. She became a Nursery teacher in 1996 where she worked until 2003 when she left the Center. She rejoined the Nursery team in 2007. |

Susanne Monteiro, our teaching assistant in the Nursery, joined the Nursery team in July of 2010. She has a BA from Dartmouth College that included course work in child development and she has experience working with young children in a variety of settings.

Carol Schoenig has worked at the Child Care Center since 1988. She spent many years as an elementary school aide and volunteer in New Jersey schools prior to moving to Norwich. |

Caitlin Murphy joined the Red Room team in January of 2010. Caitlin has a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education from Lyndon State College. Her prior experience included working with toddlers at a center in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont.

Jodie Carroll joined the Nursery team in May of 2006 and moved to the Yellow Room in 2008. She comes to us with a background at Head Start and in home based child care. She has a BA in Communication Studies with a strong foundation in early childhood education and sign language from Keene State College. |

Shelly Sanderson has worked with young children both in preschool settings and as an educational assistant in the public school. She became the assistant teacher in the Green Room in the fall of 2008 and a teacher in the Yellow Room in 2009. She is currently pursuing a CDA (a national child development associate). |

Brystol Rayno graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS in Early Childhood Education. She joined the Center in 1999. She taught in the Blue Room and the Green Room prior to moving to the Yellow Room in the fall of 2003. She returned to the Blue Room in 2006. |

Rebecca Bingham has a BS in Early Childhood Education from the University of Vermont. She worked at the center while an under-graduate and joined the Blue Room full time in the summer of 2008.

Karen Burdette graduated from Wheelock College with BS in Early Childhood Education. She started working in our Nursery in 1982, where she stayed until she moved to the Orange Room in 2006.

Christine Kjier has a BA in Speech and Theater Arts and a Child Development Associate Certificate. She has many years of experience working with young children including a position as a Head Start home visitor in Randolph, Vermont. Christine joined the staff as a Yellow Room teacher in 1998 and moved to the Green Room in 2003. |

Cherie Landie, the Head Teacher at the After School Program, joined the Child Care Center staff in August of 2009 when the After School Program opened. Cherie has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Swain School of Design and a Masters of Education from Antioch New England Graduate School. Cherie worked with children in the first through the eighth grade in Dublin and Francestown NH prior to moving to the Upper Valley. Cherie also works part time as a float at the A-frame when she is not at the After School Program. |

Rosalynn Lyons, has worked at Toddlers Morning Out in Hanover for three years. She also has experience with children in Kindergarten through Second Grade as a volunteer in the Lebanon Schools. |

John Harrington, has a Bachelors in Art from Johnson State College, where he also took a number of education courses. He has experience teaching art in both second grade and eighth grade in Johnson and Morrisville, VT. |

Sarah Harriman has a BA in Elementary Education from Colby Sawyer College. She has many years of experience working with children in child care settings and she has been a classroom volunteer in the Springfield Elementary School. |

Fay Weber joined the Red Room team in 2007 and moved to float in the summer of 2008; she comes from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts where she was teacher in the toddler room at the Shrewsbury Children’s Center for six years. Fay has BA from Franklin Pierce College and has Massachusetts’s certification as a preschool and toddler teacher. |

Betsy Wheeler has a BA in Elementary Education from Johnson State College. She had many years of experience teaching kindergarten, Head Start and preschool before coming to the Center in 2006. |

Allison Colburn, Executive Director, has a BA in Early Childhood Education from Tufts University Child Study Department and a MS in Nonprofit Management from New England College. She worked as a teacher and assistant director both in the Boston area and in the Upper Valley before she joined the staff at The Child Care Center in Norwich as a program coordinator in 1982. Allison has been the Director of the Center since 1997. |

Lisa Lawrence has a BA in Arts in English Language and Literature. She has worked as a paraprofessional in the public schools and has done home care through Vermont Supported Living. She joined the Blue Room team in the fall of 2000 and moved to the office in 2006.

The Third member of the office team is Peter Haubrich, bookkeeper. Peter has many years of bookkeeping experience; he has been at the Center since 1990.
